Well I went and the doctor always spends all the time with me that I need, hence why he is not the most punctual doctor but that is ok. So today I gave him my whole history and outline of my story and symptoms, doctors I have seen, labs and procedures that had been done, and my family history. He would like to send me out to Minnesota to the Mayo clinic out there for a week or two. He said insurance would cover this I would just need to find the money for the flight and a place to stay. He says that when he can't figure out what is ailing a patient with many complications he has been able to send them there and they have been able to find the answers they need, aka... a diagnosis. I want to do this ... but I cant right now. I would be able to do this perhaps late fall. I am going to try for it anyways and my husband is very supportive and all for it. They would need copies of all my entire medical files from when I was young and then they go from there.. I most likely will do this if answers are not found here in the next 5 or 6 months.
He then was pretty concerned about the sudden mucus in my stool and had assumed I had a colonoscopy before.. I told him I had but it was nearly 10 years ago.. and he says "well guess what your getting done!?" lol...He told me also I could have IBD (inflammatory bowel disease) which is completely different from IBS and can cause the mucus i guess. so that is now been scheduled for June 18th at 9am but that is subject to change. My hubby will be in Louisiana at this time for training. He is gonna try to get out of it but I doubt he will be able to.. so most likely I will be rescheduling for July. In which I should find out tomorrow for sure. The sleep study is still on for June the 10th... Then I go to see a surgeon on the 16th of june to discuss my hernia surgery which will also most likely be scheduled for July. I have a busy few months ahead of me... I hope something is found but if not.. I will look forward to possibly visiting the mayo clinic for a week or two. There just maybe hope out there! well there is a glimmer of hope anyways!

the Mayo Clinic sounds like the best deal so far, so try your hardest to get in.
