I know the members here won't be able to answer this for me so hoping someone out there reads this posts and can help me... :)
I'd like to know if any females out there have been diagnosed with endometriosis up in the rib cage area and NOT in the pelvis/female parts. I've read many stories about endo traveling around the body, but in all cases during surgery only found in the pelvis area.
What are the chances of just having it in the rib area, peritoneal cavity ? Last surgery showed my pelvis as crystal clear, endo completely gone. After keeping a diary I'm starting to notice a pattern of pain levels rising closer to period time, pain levels up even higher during periods and the pain IS NOT PELVIC PAIN(just normal period pain) it's located in the rib cage area, exactly where my lump is (see pain pictures) which must somehow be related to hormones.
I would love to hear from anyone who has experienced this.. How you were finally diagnosed and what type of specialists diagnosed it. Did you have surgery? and was it successful.
Thanks Sammy
