Hello,
Until recently I have always just assumed that my symtoms and infections were just life.  Maybe even a result of trauma from my sons death 15 years ago.  So I will start from the beginning in hopes that some one out there can relate or have words of wisdom.
In January of 1999 I noticed a lump in my right breast. My son was about 3 months ols and I had an infection from breast feeding him about a month before.  I ignored it, but by the time it was July the lump had grown from a pea to a walnut and by October it was the size of a small orange.  After fighting with Kaiser to do something they finally removed and classified it as a breast absecess.  I continue to have these breast absecess along with other symptoms for about 6 more years.  Facial hair, hair on my breast and inner thighs began to grow.  Joint pain and fatigue, and I was gaining weight around my midsection that I had never had before. In 2001 I had another child.  During my pregnancy I had alot of pain and way so sick the entire time.  Maybe I should give a little more back ground.  I have never been over weight, not a hairy gal by far; farm girl so vary active and I must say I did not have a problem getting a boys attion.  So when the facial hair started right around the same time I had my first surgery and the weight gain that I could not loose no matter how hard I tried.  I just figured that my hormones had changed and this was just the way it was going to be.
It is now 11 years later, I have had a full hysterectomy in 2005, and over 14 surgeries on my breast to remove absecesses.  For the first time in 11 years they are testing me for cushings and hormone levels.  Testotrone is normal, Estrogen is normal, Prolactin is on the low end of normal.  My blood pressure is low, white blood count is ok, FSH is ok .  Still waiting on the cortisol and the DHEAS test.  These are my symptoms and have consitantly getting worse over the last 11 years
Cronic fatigue, Hair growth on my face, stomach, chest and inner thighs,  Hard time getting up and down, loss of sex drive, fatty hump between the shoulders(started about 6 years ago), anxiety, Breast abseccesses (started in the right breast and now in the left), weight gain in the midsection and face.
Please somebody help!
