When all else fails, play dead!

We got home after spending all day Monday running around Melbourne trying to get computer files printed, then rushing to Southern Cross station only to find the train we had planned to take was replaced by road coaches. I hate road coaches as much as Horse does. I have to grab the bar every time we go around a corner or the wheelchair, being so top-heavy will tip, and the stops have at bare minimum me sliding up to the dash (it's not just having only 2 drive wheels, it's the 'anti-lock-brakes' that DO lock up!)
Rather then go home and be miserable, I decided my planning had better not be wasted, and jumped on a train to Bendigo. Horse posed while we were sitting at Southern Cross, then I pulled out paperwork and sorted for the rest of the trip. The attendant lady was very friendly, she asked lots of questions about Horse. She took a business card and said she'd see about getting the association approved by VLine, she was very impressed with how Horse just lay down and slept on the opposite side of the train while I had my back to him sorting papers.

Horse followed me off the train in stinking hot Bendigo! I took him around the block for a quick piddle, on 4 or 5 bushes! On the way back I stopped for a quick look into what appeared to be a few dismantled traction engines. I told Horse how Dad would be in absolute heaven in there, and I tried to pull back onto the road and find shade. The wheelchair couldn't grip, the weeds kept slipping, which gave me no choice. I turned it onto it's 2nd slowest speed, knelt in the weeds, held the controller in reverse(the anti-lock brakes would otherwise stop me from shoving it, and the chair itself weighs 160kgs) and used my other shoulder to shove it. Took Horse a while to work it out, but he put his front feet on seat and helped me shove it, I'm so proud of him!

We went back and I filled a 1ltr ex yoghurt container with water for him to have a slurp.
We went for a sniff in the shopping centre, I thought my big boy needed the aircon, and I could do with a look around. Horse has a new red headcollar to match his mesh vest, and I've got jam donuts and lamingtons for me! We stopped and shared a table with a very nice couple of people, who stopped and talked to me like a normal person, made me wish I lived up there.

Horse and I both snoozed all the way home. I don't remember much of anything. I was so tired, I got home, put my food in the fridge, gave the cats and dogs kibble, let Horse have a big long drink from my 4ltr pot in the kitchen. When he finished, I took him to the crate and went to bed for a quick snooze. I woke up at 7am, put Horse out the back, fed the dogs, fed the cats and went to bed until 9am.

I've been dozey/dopey and whichever other dwarves you want to name since. Kinda peculiar, I don't usually get so tired from going up there. I suspected correctly, I'm pregnant! I don't know whether to be happy about it or not, I need sleep, then I'll think about it some more.

I'm getting my delivery of animal food this afternoon too.
