Hi everyone. Glad to found this place but wish I found it years ago. Tomorrow I get the final test results to find out if I'm completely NUTS or if something neurologically is wrong with me. I will give a list of most of my symptoms if I can remember them all. Today I can actually type. Need to get some things done at home. Things all started 5 years ago and got progressively worse this spring after the worst migraine I have ever had.

2005- facial/throat/mouth/ear/jaw- severe pain to point of inablity to swallow, close mouth, swallow saliva, speak. If I did swallow saliva- the pain in my jaw/ears was excruciating and noise in my ears horrid. This happened twice in less than 6 months. Sent to an ENT. Nothing wrong.

Same year my right hand begans to tremor. Then out of no where one day I lose absolute no use of it. This lasted for about a month. Everyone including DH thought I was just making it all up for attention. That really upset me. Who in their right mind would do that??? Not able to button shirts, hold a spoon, pen, etc. Embarrassing.

Fingers/hand-pins/needles
cognative problems
short term memory loss
problems speaking
all of that would come and go in chunks of time frames- VERY ODD

Developed severe allergies/asthma.

Symptoms progressed. Thought it all was drug related due to the meds I take for ADHD. Not the case. Took me off some of them... Didn't make a difference. Vision problems.

Migraines started. Severe. Vertigo starts- mildly. Speech problems again. Memory loss again- getting worse. Lose thought in mid sentence. Cognatnive problems. Walking problems. Balance problems.

More vision problems. Severe migraine. After that migraine, vertigo consistant daily until right now. Has ruined my life. Been thru various neuro-specialists, tons of tests, etc. going to more specialist- a vertigo specialist, etc. been thru phsyical vertigo therapy-didn't help one bit. Vertigo is so bad and nausea that some days unable to eat. swallowing- difficult, bowels/urinating- all a mess, walking- dangerous; have had numerous accidents and harmed self.

Basically- a walking train wreck!

That sums it up quickly.

Tomorrow I find out the data of 'the real dx'- yeah right. They told me that last week!!!! Who do I really believe anymore????

ugh..

When all else fails, play dead!

Seems like you have many things going on...poor baby!

Migraines aren't fun...I've been without them for a while, but I'm always dreading the next one!
How does your hand feel when it gets the tremors? When I got the tremors in a limb, that part of my body just disappeared. I could feel nothing in it, my muscles just lost control. If I got it in my body like my neck or something, I could feel it if I touched it, but I still had no control over my muscles. It all confused the crap out of me, I think it was part of the downward spiral.
My memory was pretty awful too, everyone I knew called me stupid, because sometimes my memory was Ok, sometimes I couldn't remember the beginning of my thought so I'd repeat myself.

The severe allergies is what confuses me, I've always been healthy as a horse. Allergies to what would be helpful. Is it food, bee stings, possibly pollen?
