X-ray showed a lump..  (Read 732 times)

Hello everyone! I'm a 23 year old female and I've just found out an x-ray I had showed a lump on the top of my spine.. on the right hand side. I had the x-ray because I was having pain in my wrists.. so bad I couldn't grip things most of the time. I didn't have a chance to check the x-ray as both times I called there was some reason it wasn't available then my Husband's Grandmother passed away and it was put on the back burner. Then the pain went from my wrists to my entire right arm and shoulder.. and now it's my neck and back (On the right side only) as well. It's really severe pain.. most nights I can't sleep properly. And I'm constantly breaking out in a sweat.. though, I'm not sure if that's related. I also have bad headaches and can't concentrate properly.. I've gotten clumsy as well.

The doctor didn't tell me anything.. Just referred me to a Musculoskeletal specialist. From what I've read online it could be a Musculoskeletal tumor.. as I have the symptoms.. and well, the lump! I'm so worried and my appointment isn't until August 9th. That's not long, really.. but it feels like forever to me. I dunno.. I'm not sure why I'm here.. Just wanted to tell someone, I suppose. I try not to tell my family what I've looked up or what I fear it could be.. I don't want to upset anyone. And I keep getting the 'It's nothing' thing.. which annoys me in a way because I'm in so much pain and it feels like they don't care. Which I know isn't true but yeah..

Anyway.. It's just the waiting game now..

Thanks! :)

I've only read bits of your story here and there but that seems a definite. Poor us! I'm glad as well.. It seems like a very nice site and it's nice to have somewhere to talk about it without feeling like I'm upsetting someone with my worries. I try not to talk about it around my poor hubby.. He's stressed out enough because we're in the middle of buying our first house!!

Thanks, I will! :D And yes.. I'm trying my best! I know it's important not to get upset or depressed. It's hard when you're constantly in pain, though..

Holly
