I was a member of this forum not long after the website was started I put a few posts on the website I was also starting a website at the time of which I gave up on but am glad to see that this very helpful website is still going with members still joining and new posts being put onto the forums.
I have suffered with severe back pain and sciatica for around 14 years now I have recently been discharged from the pain clinic as I was told that there is no more that can be done to help me apart from the use of pain killers which I can get sorted out with by going to my GP.
During this week I went to walk down the stairs in our home and fell down them all from the top I am once again a bit bruised up had to go to the hospital by ambulance as was concerned about several broken bones. Fortunately I had not broken anything and was released from hospital after being x rayed.
I fall over regularly, live with at times very bad pain in my back and legs and am not able to walk far, most of the time I am using a wheelchair when I do walk I use 2 walking sticks for support to get out.
On the plus side of my life I have 3 excellent children and am lucky to have a very special lady who is my wife and carer.
This is my story which I have made as short as possible.
Lets hope that we don't all have to suffer much longer.
