So since this summer I have been seeing the endocrinologist. We got a few abnormalities but the only way to get any diagnosis' we needed to do more procedures and testing. I did the glucose tolerance test showing reactive hypoglycemia as I knew allready. I got a blood work up for antibodies for thyriod problems.. that was normal. The metabolic panel of course.. normal... and then last week I got the insulin tolerance test which would show if I had a growth hormone defiency or problems with my cortisol... well I went to my appt today and THOSE CAME OUT NORMAL. *sigh* so... I guess from here... I am to drastically change my diet since blood glucose levels can effect the entire body and well being. So I go to a dietician and start this new diet and stay on that for 6 months and then return the the endo in June. He said it could be the difference or maybe we could go back and retest some other things in 6 months but he first wants to help alleviate the blood sugar issues and who knows maybe I will feel better? so I guess it was not a total waste. I have been officially finally diagnosed with Reactive Hypoglycemia with possible pre diabetes. with the endo... So i dont know where to go to now.. I have been officially to 4 different GI docs who have done test after to test to diagnose me with GERD and IBS, I have been diagnosed with sleep apnea from my family doctor and a sleep study, reactive hypoglycemia with the endo, I have been to 2 nuerologists, ruled out MS and many others, had a few abnormal readings during EEG. Been tested for Lupus, lyme disease, been to a cardiologist, had a few EKGs, 24 hr heart monitor, all normal... So.. I guess what that leaves is a Rhuemy. I have not called Doctor Rominick yet, but I think I will tomorrow. I am having headaches in the same place over and over again. I thought the jaw pain was from the fact i needed a root canal but after the root canal I am still having the jaw pain with headache and muscle tendernes. Trying not to get too down and out, atleast something was found. I do have blood sugar issues..but why?
