For those who have followed my threads on Dercums Disease

From my postings and research Dercums is very rare and not many Doctors have heard of it. Well my Aunty (Uncles Wife so not blood related) went to her Doctor last week complaining about a sore lump on her arm and you'll never guess...

He said THAT'S A DERCUMS LUMP  Dance
We live in a rather small community and I never thought I'd find any Doctor near by who was aware of this disease  Big Grin so I now have another place to go to discuss my Lipoma theory with someone in the know.

Just wanted to share my excitement (might not be the case with Dercums at all) but if he knows about this disease he must know alot about painful Lipoma's because that's the major symptoms of Dercums

Now it's just waiting until my baby arrives (few months after perhaps) and I'm on the hunt for a diagnosis again with renewed enthusiasm  Dance

Sammy
