So, something is wrong with my abdomen. Dunno what, but I do know I had a stricture that they dilated yesterday and I have gastritis. But the pain is much more than it should be. Its frigging unbearable. I cannot eat or drink AT ALL. I am very dehydrated. So I get to the ER today (AGAIN) and the doctor gives me a lecture about faking it for pain meds. HELLO. If I wanted pain meds all I would have to do is say the magic word "Fibromyalgia" to my pain mgmt doc and I would GET all the pain meds I wanted. My internal meds doc, GI doc, etc, NO ONE is looking to find out whats wrong with me. They see the first easy diagnosis and go with that, and it ends up being wrong. I am already starting to show signs of a NEW case of pneumonia - its starting the way it did before - pleural effusion, shortness of breath when walking and nausia. None of them seem to care. They even got upset when I dared ask them for IV FLUIDS to help with the dehydration - what, do they think saline makes you high now? I mean COME ON. The GI doc was great for doing the endoscopy, but since all they found was a stricture and gastritis, WHY STOP? Thats obviously not all thats going on!
