I am finally home =) 12 days in that hospital! 3 types of pneumonia, a sinus infection and my lungs collapsed. THAT sucked!

You've definately been through the wars Keilia.
Ok, this may sound wrong, but tell me how it felt. Truly, it might help if someone I know is hit with something like it.

Well my lungs didnt hurt until AFTER they told me I had pneumonia. When they collapsed - it felt like I was drowning - but obviously no water. VERY scary. Intense pressure on my chest. Now it feels like I am being stabbed when I breathe. But my pneumonia is all gone. So thats good. But the internal medicine doc completely blew me off AND took me off my cholesterol meds, which I need. *sigh*.

That would be scary...The stabbing feeling can't be fun either. I'm still being blown off too. It's so annoying! What was the purpose of taking you off the meds? Sometimes it's done so they can see what you're like with no meds. It doesn't help your mood when every doc you go to takes all your meds away, but reports from other docs can't tell everything. Sorry I can't help more.

Im just particularly pissed at this doc. He took me off pain meds, he said my lungs cant hurt that much. What crap. Then he took me off cholesterol meds - without even knowing what my cholesterol IS. Then he didnt even have the biopsy results or even know about the CT scans and the spot on my liver. WTF.

I would be annoyed too It's not the same Doctor that originally put you on these meds is it ? Perhaps go back to the one who first prescribed and see what they have to say about being taken off them

I think I am going to end up in the hospital again. Going to the ER soon. I am having ALL the symptoms of acute pancreatitis and my doctors are ignoring it. If I do, Ill have my hubby post again...

Thank you, Sammy I promise, Im not really much of a whiner, I just cant get well! The Oxy is taking the edge off the pain, but not stopping it. I just managed to eat some eggs, but it hurts so bad! The Oxy is also making me VERY nausiated. Also, I cant sleep cause of the pain. I have managed to sleep just 10 minutes here and there today. If I cant get some relief soon, Im headed back to the ER. This is insane! HUGS! Keilia
