having my colonoscpy done this tuesday at 9:45 am.. starting the all liquid diet and prep tomorrow. Wish me luck though I have had problems in the past with the prep .. it makes me very sick. Fingers crossed it doesnt. I am going to take my time drinking the prep this time , that should help. I hope. Going to dinner tonight for my "last meal" hehe.... wish me luck

started my liquid diet today, nothing like popsicles and juice for breakfast and broth for lunch.. mmm mmm mm... lol  yah... I just cant wait to start the moviprep. oh yay. So I am going to spending this beautiful day in the bathroom. fun fun.

What has been hard is keeping the blood sugar up with this clear liquid diet stuff. I feel pretty awful. The juice makes the glucose spike and then crash so.. yah. Not fun.

well.. all of that prep and torture for them to find nothing. Which I guess is a good thing. The entire bowel was completely clear of everything and anything, no polyps nothing, they didn't need to take any biopsies anywhere. So I went through two days of not eating then to cleansing my colon with the prep then doing the procedure then came home and had the worst migraine ever.. and I dont get migraines, and now even a few days later the colon from the moviprep thinks its still trying to cleanse so eating food at this point is still not fun... what torture .. to find nothing. That was frustrating... but a good thing too that nothing awful was found like cancer.. eek.

I know we all want something to show but this is good news  Smile no cancer is good
I'd say the migraine is from dehydration, so make sure you drink plenty of fluids.

I was hoping something would be found to help uncover all your symptoms but not to worry onwards and upwards, next Doctor

Yes, having a clean colon without any diseases is always a good thing :)

Don't get discouraged, look at me. They found something but I STILL dont have a diagnosis. I don't even know if its caused by whatever I have or IS the actual thing. (Sorry if that made no sense at all to you)

You're just ruling things out. So now u can rule this out and move a step closer to ur diagnosis!

Best of luck!  Huge Hug
