Thanks zophistreet.   I can get to MDs by taxi, the state pays.  The problem is searching for a new MD who would be accepting of my situation and limitations and respectful and I would hope at least somewhat familiar with some of what's happening to me.   Since I had to give up on doing this very hard or impossible task on my own, ever, after decades of disasters, help with searching online is all I can think of, and it's urgent.  I can't go on with no one addressing the neurotransmitter problem most of all.

So......Jason, does the above mean you need me to help you find a doctor in or around your area?????? :signs002

If so, point me in the direction of a post that explains all of your symtoms, AND what type of doctor YOU feel YOU need to see, then of course, you will need to tell me your city/state, and I will go hunting for you!!!  Thumbs

I realize you have been dealing with light senstivity and pain for 30 years.

Let me know, and I will try to help all I can!!!! Thumbs

thanks z and Sammy

Thanks very much for the offer... all I can say today is that the #1 priority is attitude, #2, also an extreme priority, is at least willingness to accept and deal with EI if not familiarity, but some familiarity is also important, I just may have to srettle for less.  Actual EI doctors are too spoecialized and narrow and don't listen when I talk about non-EI aspects.

It's a more complicated thing than finding listings of names.   I'm not sure if one can look into attitudes without direct phone contact, which is something I screw up in my state.   Online I can edit and take my time, but spontaneous conversation is a hard struggle, and even if I get useful things said, people hear the struggle in my voice and assume I'm mad at them.

All for now....
