Told You It Was Not All In My Head!

I cant control my muscles. I can barely type. My right side is incapactitated by pain, and my left by muscle jerks. My doc doesn't give a crap. She doesn't even care how much pain I am in. Or that I have spilled crap on me all day, and that I woke my husband up all night with muscle jerks. (They are not spasms, they do not hurt). I need a doctor to just CARE. Even if they cant do anything, I just need them to CARE.  Cry Cry Cry

I think it maybe time for a second opinion from a different doctor.. whether it be a second opinion or 20th opinion you NEED to find a doctor who actually cares. They are few and far between but... Have you looked here yet?  http:// www. ratemds .com /social/?q=node%2F28882&sid= 48

Its how I found my doctor who finally cared enough to want to send me out to the Minnesota mayo clinic if need be. I have spent years and years upon years with doctors that didnt care nor did they ever believe me. I have spent so much time and money trying to find a diagnosis only to be put down so much by being told this is all in my head. I left nearly half of my doctors appts. in tears. I dont give up though. This is no way to live the way we do.... so we need to find a way to live and be ok again. I have tried many times as the doctors say to ignore my symptoms and live life normally. As normal as can be but there is something wrong with my body, I should not feel like this and only I know that. I will convince a doctor that will believe me. Its finding one that does. Try that link to look up ratings of family doctors or specialists in your area. It is a great resource and is the only way I find my doctors now.

Hang in there... your not alone in this. There is a doctor out there that will believe you and care for your wellbeing, don't give up.  Huge Hug Huge Hug Huge Hug

yes but how many ratings are there? only one or two or even three? how old are they? and read what the comments say.. look for the best of the best in the entire list, I only go for doctors that have like 5 ratings of 5s or more and they have been rated this year and last, not 2007. Also I would look into a different kind of specialist. Ever seen a Pain management doctor? If it were me I wouldnt be satisfied and would look else where for answers, its funny too how sometimes the doctors that make diagnosis' are not even in the necessary feild, you see it all the time on Mystery diagnosis. I think its time to broaden and expand the horizons here perhaps. I am just saying this because I have wasted too much time on doctors that have not cared, now..... nearly my whole entire life feels wasted in doctors offices when really they didnt even care for my well being. I am determined to not have to life like this anymore no matter how sick or how tired I am. I know its gonna be hard believe me its been a real struggle for nearly 15 years here but im putting my foot down. Time to get aggressive.

I just looked up the Rheumotology list for washington and found a doctor with 12 ratings of 5s!! all 5s ratings from 2006-2009!!! he is from swedish.  Now.. that is who I would be making an appt. with if it were me! again.. only best of the best for me at this point.
