Im sorry things are so hard right now.. I hope that these meds start working and work well for you. In the meantime I just dont know what to say. Too bad they didnt think about your well being and pain during the time your waiting for it to work! geez...
as far as medical MJ. I know a few people that use it, I know someone that uses it for back pain and then someone that uses it for sever anxiety disorder. It works well for them.. they are in Washington as well....

Ok, My GP is just completely stupid. How she became an MD is beyond me.

Apparently, its been known for quite some time, that vit d deficiency causes joint pain. The whole reason they diagnosed me with fibro is because of joint pain. And it was my MD's blood tests that showed my vit d at 7 and she is the one who put me on 5k IU's a week of Vit D. Should she have maybe SHARED this info with me!!!

Granted, my joint pain isnt any better with the 50k IU's of it - but apparently it takes like 3 x that to make the joint pain go away....

ARGHHHHHHHH I am REALLY crabby now!

Cool...I'm looking into MJ...it works as a painkiller, restores appetite, is not toxic enough to kill.

I found an example: A 10yr old in 1967 had lymphocytic leukaemia, he had pain and nausea after each session of chaemotherapy...His parents were desperate, they gave him MJ 20mins before his next appointment. The kid jumped off the table and said 'Mom, can we get a sandwich on the way home?'
For the rest of his life (which was about 18 months)he never had to suffer with that nausea and pain. His quality of life was restored.
