Told You It Was Not All In My Head!

I take this for anxiety and sleep. Apparently Astrazeneca has known for quite some time that this drug causes diabetes and other ailments.

Since I have started taking it, I have had high blood sugar and muscle twitches. I did not connect the two. Apparently Zyprexa does the same thing, which I took just prior to Serequel.

I am very, very upset.

I Will Be Diagnosed !

If you read the  information sheet on different drugs you WOULDN'T TAKE THEM (side effects are scary) some people are lucky and have no ill effects, others are not as lucky. Just saying that all drugs have risks.............

Have you discussed with your Doctor Keilia ? maybe time to stop this medication as side effects are bad for you  Confused
Hence my concern over the years on just being prescribed medication to shut me up.........SIDE EFFECTS  aggressive

The problem with the high blood sugar and diabetes is that Astrazeneca WITHELD that information from doctors and patients until recently. And they have known it a long time. I am very very upset. How can I make an informed decision as to take it or not if all of the relevant facts are not being given?

man this is why I have refused alot of medications that have been just given to me to shut up. I have been written soooo many scribes. I only end up filling maybe on or two out the the ten or so. Every medication has side affects some they wont find out till its too late and that is when the legal stuff happens and when information is withheld. I have dug and found some pretty nasty stuff about a very very common medication for heartburn like Prilosec, prevacid and any proton pump inhibitor medication for heartburn and GERD. Many bad side affects.. they have one settlement going on right now but I feel in about ten years or less you will start seeing more and more problems with the drug. You have to dig deeper into the info because prilosec for example only lists the most common side affects on the actual paper you get with the perscriptions. Unfortunately I do take prilosec. I have to in order to be comfortable, nothing else seems to work for me so its a real catch 22.. possibly get pancreatitis or have painful heartburn all day everyday. Either way it totally sucks.

It was also only recently that they found Paxil causes many birth defects so there are alot of settelements associated with that drug as well. Luckily I dont take that stuff anymore.

When all else fails, play dead!

Does it work the way you want it to? If not, it'd probably be best to stop taking it.

It used to, but it stopped. I was taking it for insomnia and anxiety and a little for hallucinations. I still see cats in my apt when I dont have any, I cant sleep once again, and my anxiety is through the roof again. (past month)
