I beg to differ...it's a good thing she has fluid in her lungs, while she's under for the 'repair' it's very possible they may find something else that's interesting, and while she's open, is an ideal time to fix it.
I'm hoping the something else'll grab the doctor's attention so they'll work out what the cause of all your problems is...

New I hope so. My biggest fear is what may be causing the fluid in the lungs. When I tried to google it, it had a bunch of scary crap =(

I hope you get a surgeon who knows what unusual is, and doesn't pretend they saw nothing and close you up without saying anything. That'd be a real bummer...Ok, where's Dr House already?

no they shouldn't have to open you up to get out the fluid.. my grandmother ended up dying of phnuemonia but they were clearing out her lungs every few hours with well I dont know what.. because she was very ill and I didnt want to witness it... sooo..  what I do know is it did not require surgery for this.. HOWEVER.. if the fluid is from a heart problem that is something that needs to be looked into more further by cardiologist etc that may in turn require surgery... hope they find the reason why there is fluid in there soon..

stupid new symptoms, this is grating on my nerves - whats left of them.

I delayed posting this because I was not sure if it would go away.

On my right foot, if I touch my toe, it does not feel right. In my toe, I feel tinglies, but I do not feel my finger touching my toe. Its on all toes on my right foot, but my left foot is fine. This has been going on for weeks now. My doctors, of course, dismissed it. They have been dismissing everything that does not point to fibro.

yep that sounds typical of a doctor. Dismissing everything else but what they feel you have.... very very frustrating. What part of washington are you in??
