Told You It Was Not All In My Head!
|
Oh my, I am much, much worse. My right side , I can move it, I have the ability, but the pain is so bad, I have spent most of today in bed. Also, I noticed, when I sit down, my right knee creaks - sounds like a creaky door. This isnt sounding good.

When all else fails, play dead!

Meh! Being in a wheelchair's not so bad, it does get frustrating. People tend to patronise you, a woman was seriously shocked that I carried 2kgs of bones in a plastic bag in my hand...I lump 20kgs around at home on my shoulder!!
Learning to drive a wheelchair's fun. With a car, you keep 2 hands on the wheel. With a wheelchair, you drive with one hand, and the 1 second delay works only for brakes, no steering delay unless you have an interfereing OT. For electric chairs, you'll be funded for at least 1/2 the cost. The wheels/tyres are the user's responsibility(If you hit the same problems I have, a bike shop can order them fairly cheaply)
