The Swine flu  (Read 488 times)

Is officially here in the state of Washington now. A pediatrician was confirmed to have it and she went to work and saw over 20 kids in her office yesterday while she had symptoms.. but she thought she just was getting a cold. yikes.. that can't be good.

Anyone else a lil worried about the swine flu? anyone with weak immune systems like myself? i swear my husband will just get sniffles and a lil cough but if I get the same thing I am bed ridden for over a week. So sick to even get out of bed.. so yes.. its a lil worrisome. I am staying positive that I won't get it but I wouldn't be suprised either IF I did. I hope not though... ! man its worse enough to have an undiagnosed illness when your sick allready then you get the flu.. ick. no no no fun. i hope and pray that none of us get it!

Yeah I'm definately worried. It hasn't reached Canada yet (from what I hear in the news), but I'm washing my hands more often and trying to stay away from large crowds. I'm worried more for my baby brother since alot of children have died from this flu so far.. Are they handing out the masks yet?
