Told You It Was Not All In My Head!

Two days ago I was diagnosed with Lupus. This after being sick since 2006. Then, the next day, it seems there was a lab error and I do NOT have lupus.

The past 3-4 days my fever has been getting worse, but I have no infection or virus. My stomach has started hurting, and my hair is beginning to fall out. My fatigue today is so bad, all I have done is take a shower and I am exhausted. I can barely get out of my chair.

I just want to cry. I have no idea what to do. My tummy hurts =(

I'm so sorry to hear that Keilia..  Huge Hug

I think a misdiagnosed illness is worse than an illness without a diagnosis (and it's hard to find anything worse than that!)

I don't want to scare you, but with this swine flu going around, you should definately get yourself checked out by a doctor.

Colds and flus have to run their course and there's nothing really we can do until it passes. So try to keep yourself hydrated and get plenty of rest. Please do me a favour and update me with how your doing as the week progresses. Keep your chin up hun!

Told You It Was Not All In My Head!

Already called my doc, and there is no swine flu in me...Thanks, though =)

Today is already starting off bad. My fever is at 102. Sadly, since last October this is not unusual. I have stopped cleaning, and my husband is having to do it. I feel so bad, cause I stay at home on disability and he works 40+ hours a week. I should be able to do this. But I am so tired. Its like swimming through mud.

It wouldnt be so bad if I didnt have the stupid fever. I can make myself do stuff even when tired, but even my eyeballs feel like they are on fire, as well as my joints. I know my husband is understanding, but I just dont feel like I am doing my part....

I Will Be Diagnosed !

Just a brief thought....have you tried Alternative Treatments ? maybe a herbalist, iridologist etc, perhaps just to help you get by until you've been diagnosed correctly...

I hope this week picks up and you're feeling better

Yep, my Aunt is very much into alternative meds. I cant do a lot of it because of my mental illness meds. Nothing so far has worked.

That's a shame because some do help. BUT they can be rather expensive, it's the only reason I don't take anything these days ...I just don't have the money now I'm unable to work....

Yeah I can sympathize there. I am, thankfully, on disability for my depression/anxiety/hallucinations. I wish that were all that is wrong with me =(

having anxiety and depression is a tough diagnosis to get around when you have an undiagnosed illness. Many doctors simply won't listen to you because of your "psychiatric issues" be careful there... my entire file for most doctors have this noted in them so its then "definately in my head" so its really really tough to get a doctor to listen. Its been a real struggle for me and possibly why I have gone so long undiagnosed. Alot of them don't realize that anxiety/depression is a symptom of alot of things out there. Instead they say the anxiety/depression is what is causing all the illness. I do understand that it wreaks alot of havoc on our bodies.. especailly stomachs and such but I doubt my anxiety is causing me all my symptoms.
Anyways.. just wanted to add that there.. good luck to you. Make sure you have a good doctor/specialist.

Yep, I have gone several years with docs telling me its all in my head. I am gearing up for hearing that, but I know for a fact it is not.

I need to whine today.

My joint pain is absolutely killing me, and my fever is a bit higher today. I called my doc and left a message, the vicodin is not helping at all. Neither is ibuprofen.
