on a quest for health

My mum also has ankolosing spondylitis, like you. It is very hard when you don't have any answers to what is going on, even when your condition is not treatable it just helps to know. i understand the frustration and my heart goes out to you

Told You It Was Not All In My Head!

Thanks mello =) Some of the are neurological. Every time I look down now, I have a shock go through my body. Had an MRI done and I have 4 discs that are severely damaged and slipped. So will have surgery soon for that. Today I had surgery to remove a pilonidal cyst I have had for 1 years. They also removed a breast lump. Its nothing, they sent it to pathology for a biopsy but its nothing to worry about.

Last year that idiot surgeon told me if I lost 40-60 lbs and quit smoking she would do it. So I lost 100 lbs and quit smoking. Saw her yesterday now she wants me to weigh less than 130 lbs because she "Doesnt do elective surgery for fat people". Um, this is not elective. And she should have told me that before. Im not even all that much overweight anymore. I am highly upset. So I will be finding a new plastic surgeon.

Keilia:

I'm new here. A decade ago, I had a complete hysterectomy due to severe endometriosis. However, the endo was so painful immediately after the surgery, I didn't need much morphine due to how painful the endo was. That is scary!!!

Anyway, like you, I have been in limbo-land hell for 5 years. I agree about the Lupus theory. And, I totally get how tons of doctors etc. all can just tell you one thing and then another or tell you it is all in your head. I have so many 'horror stories' it would just make the hair on your arms stand up. ugh!

It is very obvious you are in a ton of pain and feel horrible. I'm so sorry you are going thru this. Please hang in there. I hope that you find some help soon.

Hugs

cooper...
