Today has been rough. I went home early from work last night due to vertigo they woudn't let me drive because I was walking like I was drunk so a coworker drove me home. I came home and felt tired but better after an hour or two. Then today.. has been so rough for me.
I have been having facial nuerological issues allllll day. Like muscle twitching on my nose of all places!! tingling, zinging and buzzing sensations in my lips and cheeks and tip of my nose.
Then I had a low blood sugar crash so I had a big glass of apple juice and ate something real quick only to feel wierd ever since... felt extremely tired could barely stay standing and just feel out of it and now my intestines feel like they are gonna implode or something. No dairrhea.. yet. I need a nap.. i think. I dont know what I need. This just sucks!!!

Tired..

hang in there kristin.

i'd like you to do me a favor though.  theres a type of vertigo called BPPV, it can be cured in like a 30 seconds to a minute.  I'd like to see if that's the type you have. i had it once.

sit on the edge of your bed and cock your head all the way to the right. and slowly fall back till your head touches.  if nothing happens sit back up cock your head to the left and slowly lower yourself to the bed.  If doing either of these induces vertigo, (actually its more like your eyes glitching left and right) then i can tell you what to do fix it.  if it doesnt induce anything. then.. i'll have to get back to you on that.  lemme know

That's definately not normal Kirstin. Does keeping an ice cube in your mouth help with the inflammation at all? Keep your chin up Huge Hug

ice helps the pain but not the inflammation I get. It hurts to eat unless I chew on the opposite side. I don't know why it happens. This is a newer symptom have gotten it for about 3 years now. I don't understand it. Atleast after some advil my back feels better now.

You said it!! thanks Sammy.. you hang in there too hun! We are definately all going through tough times. Its so frustrating too when you think you are on to something then you look in your files to find you had been tested for that very thing and it was negative! then its back to the drawing board. Atleast I am not alone here! I hope we will get all through this together. I hope we find the answers we long for.. but really to feel better.. to feel normal! I would give anything for!

When all else fails, play dead!

Oh Kristen!
I know the story of back pain, peculiar swellings and being stuffed!
I have 13 furry, 4 footed little motivational insisters (7 are in a cat-pile on the couch!) to make me do at least the minimum.
The dogs aren't in crates for cat protection, the crates are their protection from the cats! The dogs are bomb proof, but there's nothing scarier then watching 3 cats approach you with their steps timed perfectly!!

crap so today I feel ick... I am starting to feel all lethargic in one of my "episodes" not much for an appetite either..lower back still hurting and last night my right side of my hip hurt soooo bad. I am just so achy in my joints lately and I JUST had three days off of work. I HAVE to go to work today. I have no choice.. i must. I have an interrmident FMLA since I was diagnosed with a form of epilepsy so it wouldn't really affect my attendence but at the same time... My hours were allready cut to 30 hours a week. So I need to go to work the days I do so I can have some sort of paycheck. ughhh..

I think you're a legend for even working at all...30 hours wow I just couldn't cope, so you're doing good despite the illness  Smile We all have to push ourselves and some days are worse than others. I hope you're feeling a little better soon

honestly 30 is almost too much. With 30 hours a week I still call in sick once every two weeks. I feel bad again today. Last night my knees ached soooooo bad! I had to take advil and put heat and ice packs on them. It was awful... but then today the pain is gone completely. Everywhere.. no pain in my back or knees or hips. Someone suggested arthritis since it started raining today but I actually feel better today in that matter. My stomach on the other hand not so much.. more diarrhea last night.. stomach ache and fatigue ALL day today!
