I saw a woman on the news who to wait 7 months for an MRI of her shoulder.. I only had to wait 2 weeks? Lady luck is on my side I guess!

I have it at 4pm.. I REALLY hope they find something..

So I'm back from the MRI..the machine they use is so noisy! Good thing they gave me head phones to drown out the noise.

It wasn't bad..just took a longer time than I expected (30-40 minutes). They injected a contrast material in my arm so they can see the brain better. They told me that I should drink lots of water to flush the contrast out of my body.. I can't seem to make lots of urine..but I'll see how this goes.

The tech turned on the radio sso I could listen to music through my headphones lol. I though that was cool.

Results in a couple of weeks I think they said. Hoping and praying they'll find something!
Next on my to do list is my colonoscopy (still haven't heard from them yet).

I Will Be Diagnosed !
I demanded my results on the day (doctor had written "report copy to patient on the referal form") so after the scan I waited about 30 minutes and went back to pick it up.  Big Grin
Previously I would have waited but after 3 years of tests and procedures I demand to know the results asap, after all it's my body and my results  Big Grin

30 minutes?! Wow that's fast..

I think the woman said to wait 1-2 weeks for me. In Canada, they don't give out te MRI images   Violent (or medical records..) to the patients.

I'll try and call my doc on monday, see if he got it yet  Confused

I had one on my back on Wednesday, I have to pick it up from the hospital any time after 4 days, (I'll probably go in next Thursday). Usually they post it but this hospital doesn't. No doubt it will have a "Only the doctor is allowed to look" sticker on it, but most times they don't seal the sticker. I've never had anything done before at this hospital before, so i'm not positive how it works yet.

Bit cold down there Sam btw?

Sure is chilly, fire going almost everyday now !

That sticker "Only the doctor is allowed to look" I open it anyway  Big Grin It's my body, my tests, I have every right to have the results, and asap. Don't they understand one days wait is way too long. Yes I'm demanding on these things  Hits on Head
