When all else fails, play dead!

I was told they'd do more tests then refer me to the hospital. Seems I've been shrugged off. Other GP's won't even look at my medical history, they tell me I've already started treatment and it's not so good for me.
AAARRRRRGGGGGHHHH!!!! So annoying! Why won't anyone help me? The only theory in 15 years and I'm summarily dismissed!!
I'm going to cure myself...I need nothing from the medical profession. This will cure nothing, just relieve the rotten effects...Anyone got a spare brick wall to bang my head on?

Hey New, I JUST got back from seeing my GP today.. You took the words right out of my mouth. I feel like I'm not getting anywhere with these docs.  A head bang on a brick wall sounds good to me right about now.. But let's not give up! We have to be our own advocates!  aggressive

Don't give up hope girls, that's all we have, HOPE.
Even if it means going the extra mile, find another doctor, if that means out of town then try it, if no luck more onto the next.

These Doctors have no idea of our suffering, therefore the compassion is nil.
Be strong and keep pushing I know you can both do this

Trouble is I don't expect compassion, they said they'd refer me, it didn't happen. I REQUIRE a referral from a GP or the hospital won't see me (unless I do something spectacular like fainting in a supermarket. Maybe I could get pregnant, but I don't like the idea of using the baby that way.)

That's the way they do it in Canada (where I live). The hospitals won't even look at you without a referral. That's why it's so important to have a good GP in the first place who cares. I'm in that stage now, looking for the right GP who cares enough to give me tests that other doctors failed to give.

LOL I've actually thought of walking into the emergency room in the hospital myself, hoping that the docs would do some tests on me if I complained hard enough. I'm afraid they'll just give me a pat on the back and tell me nothing's wrong like everyone else.

Yep! I told the GP I wanted IV vitamin e, stupid woman thought I meant intra muscular...so, as she couldn't find any notation that intra muscular vitamin e existed, she gave me a prescription for oral vitamin e. I went back and told her if I wanted the oral stuff I could go into any health shop and buy it, no questions asked.

Why do I bother?

Uhm.. New... I'm sorry if i gave you the wrong impression.. but Intra muscular vitamin E is exactly what you need.  I said IV cause i wasnt sure which method they use in delivery of vitamins, just to get the point across as you need injectable type not oral. injections of vitamin E are intramuscular just like b12, i found that out not to long ago.

so.. she's not stupid :P

typically the Vit E injections are under the label "Alpha-tocophorol"

alpha tocopherol is just another name for vitamin e, same stuff as what I've swallowed for 10years!

Nobody has even heard of an injectable form, 2 health shops and 4 pharmacies told me that.

The GPs gonna get a rather rude shove, not a push on Wednesday. I'm going to get the birth control implant removed, it's not working!
I'll have to get Miranda home from school too...I refuse to go so close to mum's and not go to see Miranda. Mum won't bring her to me, so I'll have to go to her.
