I'm suppose to be going over to my Mum's today to help her look after my niece, who has reached the terrible twos and is very good at it.
But at the moment it's bucketing down, Took my youngest to school before, a trip that takes about 12 to 14 minutes. I left at 8:12 on the dot, got home at 9:03. All our roads are flooding, it's amazing.
At least the water tank will be full. So I'm feeling a little bit guilty about leaving a not well old woman with a ratbag child, but also loving the fact i can bunk down when i feel terrible and just watch videos.
At the moment (Thanks to traffic control) i know there is a accident to the entrance to the freeway blocking it anyway, so i can't go yet if i tried. (well not without going a very long way round). I love the rain when i'm not driving in it.

i ended up going down for the count big time about a half hour after i posted that. Some virus/flu type thing i guess. Have been sleeping, sweating, freezing and causing my back grief since then (Thursday midday-ish) finally got up this afternoon (Saturday) though all i've done is sit on the couch all day. Feeling better and better just a bit weak and tired. (and my scar is really painful, must have pulled it somehow in my sleep)

They reckon the flu/viruses going around are lasting much much longer like 100 days...people feel like they are getting on top of things and whamm it hits again...super bugs...so I can imagine with our health problems Cathie they are going to hit us extra hard.

If you need some more sleep, sleep if you can manage it, your body needs the rest.  Smile
I hope you feel better soon

been sitting on my butt again all day. I have the endoscopy tomorrow so hopefully i'll be ok for that. I haven't got a cough or anything so it should be ok. She actually said unless you can't move you can still come in even if you have a cold, so i should be right.
I'm very lucky to have a great bloke looking after me  Smile
