I told him I couldn't take NSAIDS but he said this one was different and I should give it a try. My husband had some so I used his. I took one sopradically and went back to see him. He wanted me to take two a day. That was on a Tuesday. I started Wed. By Thursday night I noticed a rash just on my torso about a half dollar size, really red with about five "pimples" or fluid filled sacs. I put some antibiotic ointment on it. Saturday morning I noticed four more spots. I called the druggist and he said stop it and get some benadryl. As the day passed I noticed another nasty reaction - diarrhea. Now I can't take benadryl as it makes me hyper so I called my doctor's exchange and was told I'd just have to wait it out. Helpful! Oh, and since I had taken one already that day it would take a while for it to get out of my system. I have to be stronger when these docs say try it. While I prove to them I'm right, I'm the one who suffers. Stupid! I have a list as long as my arm of things I'm allergic to or sensitive to. The last time someone told me that isn't a true allergy, that's just a sensitivity I wanted to smack them really hard. The effect on my body is pretty much the same no matter what you tag it. One doctor said the difference between the two was if I really needed something and I was only sensitive to it they would give it to me and deal with the sensitivity but if I was truly allergic, they would stay away from it. Some sensitivities have developed into allergies, at least that has happened to me. Am feeling a bit on the :crazy2 side today. I'm out of step spiritually. My ups and downs drive me nuts. I know what I should do and yet I don't have enough umph to do it sometimes. Started working on our income taxes. That's a bummer right there. I've put it off long enough - both things! Better get some prayer in so I can make it through the taxes with a sense of humor and some degree of sanity. I'm much older than 21, but it still stinks having chronic illness that leaves you wondering what you'll be able to do from one day to the next - a bit hard on making plans for fun, volunteer work, a social life, and even the dreaded housework!
