days that is. Woke up fine, then about 30 mins later had a full blown spasm, without warning. It's been a while and i remember now why i blank them out. To add insult to it all, the muscles still haven't completely forgiven me for the gallbladder op, so that side really hurts. At the moment i have the burning/tingly face thing going on, and the veins in my hand have had a great time popping this arvo, so i feel like crap. I'd choose straight out pain over feely 'funny' any day. Sure wish i could be sick too, i reckon i'd feel better, and under my tongue is covered in ulcers.
Apart from my health bit though it's been a good day, Brett and me went and looked at fridges and stoves and decided which ones we want, now to find the best deal. Brett got a call from a mate who had a free ticket to the footy, so that's where he is and my youngest got an invite to a birthday dinner of a friend. My oldest is watching tv in her room, so it's lovely and quiet at the moment (apart from the neighbours and their kids, so i might pick a dvd to watch shortly.

Thanks Sam, I came through it better than i usually did, but it was only a small one. Had another half hour but intense one Sunday as well. That comment about the broken leg is spot on - about all that's wrong. With the unknown pain especially, at first i worried about what it was, But for 2 out of the 3 years at least, i just don't care, even if it's bad, (though of course i don't want it to be) But at least you are then able to deal with it even if it can't be helped. At least you can say, i've got this, I know for certain xyz will or won't happen. I still feel it's just something that got overlooked, and my doctor will have a Eureka moment.
The scariest thing about the muscle spasms is the length of the episodes, they are so violently intense, the pain is so horrid and after they subside, the inflamation is shocking and i'm exhausted and weak for days (though it used to be weeks until i stopped fighting them, easier just to go with the flow and hope the neighbours don't call the cops thinking i'm getting beaten to a pulp)

sorry you had a bad day :( but i'm glad that it subsided and everything else seems okay! :) i hope you picked a good movie to watch!
i'm curious have you ever been able to get these spasms on video? I think it would help a lot if you could get a visual documentation of what happens.
Thanks :) It would have been a cooking dvd - It's always a cookining dvd, lol. Have never thought of getting the spasms on video, but both the hospitals and my doctors have seen me in full spasms. Goes away with... um....lost brain contact.... Morphine. But i don't bother going unless they last too long, say over 3 hours or as they come in waves, if that stops happening and it just becomes constant - can't handle that.
