I can relate to this New...
Here you are an animal lover and from the sound of it look after your pets.
I know of someone who lives in a housing commission place who has way over the allowed limit of animals, and DOES NOT take care of them...but some how they have been allowed to keep them on the premises, even though the R.S.P.C.A have been called out a few times due to neglect......
(The Law Needs Changing, but that's a whole different debate I wont get into here. Not the R.S.P.C.A's fault, it's the laws they have to abide by)
So while I understand the housing rules about the amount of pets allowed on the premises, it seems there are rules for some and rules for others.
I feel your frustration :'(
Rachel,
it's pathetic isn't it? I kept being told I was imagining it, none of this is real, it's all in my head. Every test came back normal, and after 9 doctors, I got sick of being told nothing's wrong and having to pay for it...
As far as life goes, I just cope as best I can, if it's not good enough for you, go away! Tomorrow, I'm going to be illegally inspected. I don't plan to be here, I'm going shopping. For an inspection, the OOH(Office Of Housing) must give me 2 weeks written warning with time and date. 2 weeks ago, a guy and his snotty female assistant visited, offered help to clean the carpet and sweep the driveway, and on her way out ms snotty said you've breached your lease, we'll reinspect in two weeks. Illegal or what?
I'm trying to rehome my ex feral cats (the council can come and take them away but only if they can renounce their 'Responsible Pet Ownership' rules and they'll have to pay for the cat's upkeep and desexing.) I'm legally allowed to keep both dogs (Mishka can be passed as a service dog in training, Mojo's 9 weeks old!) and the council knows I have pet rats and has decided to allow them.
Gosh, my life's fun!
