I've been reading a little on referred pain, and thought it a good idea for some of you to consider this as a possibility.

"
Some exampes: (origin- location pain is felt)?
gall bladder- top of the right shoulder
diaphragm- shoulder and neck
stomach- spine between the shoulder blades
kidney- groin area
throat- ear
Intestine- middle or low back
"

something to consider, if you have pain, perhaps your doctors have been looking in the wrong place

If you have to ask, you are not ready to know -

Interesting...But is there any way to tell the difference between 'real' and referred pain?

As Cathie said "Plenty of doctor visits and tests." Also perhaps nerve function tests, and also nerve specialists (can't recall their correct title)  Smile
