Nothing too interesting, but if i eat chicken, well, i get the trots. Except for some reason the chicken from the butchers, never thought much about it, anyway a few months back, they had whole fancy free range/nearly organic chooks marked down at the shops, got it, ate it, yum. No problem. Maybe it was just a one off, nope bought it heaps (now discontinued of course) no problems. Kept thinking that was a nice but remote occurance. Brett went to get some meat from the butcher the other day - asked about the chicken, they have always had organic chicken, and i've never had a problem. interesting. well to me it is.

Speaking of running to the dunny, for probably, ummm, geez can't remember - 10+ years, nearly everything i ate went flying straight through until i had the colonoscopy 3 years back, then it stopped. Now i get it occassionally, but i never ate out ever. wouldn't dare, not one mouthful, or anything like a milkshake (which still affects me), but milk is fine with cereal or whatever. Don't know if i ever mentioned that before, i'd forgotten actually.

I Will Be Diagnosed !

So perhaps it's the hormones they inject the chickens with ??????

Weird you say that about the colonscopy....my mum had something similar (opposite though) before no bowel problems but since the colonscopy has trouble...perhaps they are no good for us, messing with the intestines ???? or in your case fixed it a little...

Human body is a weird thing........

that is interesting..  If i can add my 2 cents, i dont think it's soo  much the colonoscopy itself as it is preparing for it.  cleaning out the bowels, liquid diet, etc, gives the bowels a break, time to "relax" if you will.  and allows them to reset.  a lot of medical procedures do that.. like a defibrillator... it overrides the mixed signals and allows the heart to reset itself to normal rhythms.  I think the same concept applies to why the things got better after the colonoscopy.

makes sense to me anyway..
