When all else fails, play dead!

This stuff is brilliant on my back pain!
I'm actually up and about in the mornings...and this place looks so much cleaner already!

It does work pretty good.  I have been taking it for a bout a year for my legs and back.

Of course, it works better after you have been taking it for a while, it builds up in your system.

Glad to hear it is helping.

I Will Be Diagnosed !

Thanks for the tip, I have awful musculoskeletal pain (on top of the left rib pain ) so might just add another supplement and see how it goes. The fish oil does work too, takes a while to kick in but I have noticed a small difference in my morning pain.  Smile

Good to hear that something helps Samantha!! At least a little bit........ :cool

That Activ-On topical I told you about has the following ingredients:
Active Ingredients: Camphor (3.15%) (Topical Analgesic), Histamine Dihydrochloride (0.025%) (Topical Analgesic), Menthol (4.127%) (Topical Analgesic)

Inactive Ingredients: Diazolidinyl Urea, Ethyl Alcohol, Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate, Menthyl Lactate, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Stearate, Steareth 21, Tetrasodium EDTA, Triethanolamine, Water
Now this is for the Extra -Strength, there are 3 different kinds.

You may be able to find it cheaper at a discount store like Walmart....but I am unsure if you have those in Australia.

Yes, I thought for years I'd tried glucosamine and it hadn't worked, then it worked like crazy.  It's my biggest single expense now.   I can't use arthritis drugs but this allows me not to walk around like Walter Brennan, former professional old guy in films.   It's the only health-food-store-type item ever to work on me.   They sell it in the vitamin section.

I can't handle 'no coffee'! It seems to kill my caffeine tolerance...I'm down from 2 teaspoons to just enough to color the water.

Can I ask everyone what they pay for Glucosamine ?
Curious to see the difference in prices here in Australia compared to the USA.

Told You It Was Not All In My Head!

I am going to have to try the glucosamine. Anything to help this pain. I feel like I am going to go insane.

Excellent idea, another two I would recommend is Magnesium and Apple Cidar Vinegar  Smile both work well for muscle and joint pain, worth giving a go even for a few months to see if any changes  Smile

With glucosamine I only separate them into what works and what doesn't.   A couple brands didn't, one was the Walgreen's store brand.  So many companies make it because it works so well, and they're probably different in each country.   Really you have to try them, and for price, my head overloads so easily trying to do the math for whatever sales are on that month that I really need a friend along who helps sometimes, to calculate in his head what's cheapest.   It changes every week.

You have to keep in mind (in the US anyway) that there are 500, 750, and 1500 mg pills, and it's not that clear on the package.  Instead in bigger letters it says "Double strength" or "Triple strength" or nothing about strength.   Then you have to look at the fine print to figure out what the hell that means.    First you need to find how many milligrams each tablet has (500, 750, or 1500)   then look at the "serving size".    If the dosage is listed as 1500 mg like the ones I just bought, and the "serving size" is listed as 3 tablets, that means each tablet is 500 milligrams.   This Triple Strength has the lowest-dosage pills--- they're just telling you to take 3, that's what makes it "triple strength".

You might see why I get confused.   Calculating the price per 500 mg or whatever amount you want to calculate with is very hard with a swiss cheese brain such as mine now.

I've got the 750mg, but I did see some 500mg ones.
My lower back's still got a little pain, probably from my workouts...my stomach muscles need working up.
