Ok, I have finally broken down and accepted the fact that I need a walking aid. I spent hours deciding what to get. After all, one can get a functional walking stick or cane for $20 at Walmart... but really.. if I have to have one, shouldn't I have one that I like?
It's frustrating to know that I have days where I need help walking, after all, I'm not even 30! But, things being as they are, practicality must rule over vanity.
I finally settled on a pretty one, so that even if this all gets sorted out and I don't have to use it at a later date, I can use it later as a prop or give as a gift to someone.
