abdominal ct scan

pelvic ct scan

ultrasounds from almost head to toe (breast, pelvic, abdominal, chest )

I've had them too...For the last ten years I haven't seen a doctor, I've lost whatever faith I had in the medical profession. My hatred was reinforced when I was kept in hospital for 6 days after the birth of my daughter because the hospital refused to release my child to me. She was released to my mother, who still won't let her stay with me after 4 years!

After a while it does get to the point where you think "Whats The Point"
I took a break for a while in regards to finding a diagnoses, but for some reason just can't let it go, so will be back annoying my Doctor for some more tests. Fingers crossed this time
I'm going to concentrate on one thing at a time, not all my symptoms. So this time I will work on the costochondritis, from my research this condition usually comes then goes, but for me it has remained for a long time. See what happens anyway   :'(

sam, i thought your pain was under your ribcage on the left side? do you feel it by the sternum too? cause costochondritis has to do with the cartilage where the rib connects.  or am i visualizing where you said wrong..

If you have to ask, you are not ready to know -

No thats right  Jason-son:)
Pain in ribs 90% left sided. And yes I think the costochondritis is to blame, the trouble is why is it still an issue for me. All  the doctors I have seen about it have told me people can get this for a variety of reasons, bruise from sporting activities, bump to the chect etc, but it will heal itself in a short amount of time. But me, I've had it for such a long time its a concern. Osteopath agrees we need to figure out what is causing the inflammation.
Work on one thing at a time seems to be working for me. (I dont mention the other pain areas to doctors for now they get confused too easy)  ;D

sammy... i like how you're tackling your problems, but you cant NOT tell them about ALL your problems! how can they be expected to figure out the link between everything without knowing what all you're experiencing!  i want you to start telling your doctors EVERYTHING! that is non-negotiable btw. :P

Sorry does it come across in my posts that I'm not telling the Doctors everything?
I try to tell as much info as I can, I guess the only part I haven't discussed until recently was my mental state.
The ongoing questions from people about why I don't just work a few hours, or do a part time job, or why not do this or do that (coming from healthy people) affects me a great deal and I've only just come to realise that part, so working on fixing or hoping to fix it anyway !  :)
