Well, MoS took liberties with history, I guess.   It's good not to know the prevailing opinion on films etc., so as not to be influenced.  The film looked great, to start with.   As for Hepburn, I think there must be a sort of special personality that can create great things, and at the same time create a lot of frustration for those working with that person.   It may be impossible to separate one from the other.

IMDb said that she tried to play both Elizabeth I and Mary, when there was trouble with finding the right actress for Elizabeth.  This led to her being called "Katherine of Arrogance" by Frederick March the co-star, apparently... I tend to think that big, ungainly egos have their place.   They accomplish creative feats that most cannot, and at the same time may very well have personality problems.   It's par for the course I think.

Haha I do admit the acting was kind of mediocre.. especially on the the female main character. But you have to admit Robert Pattinson did a very good job of being the hunky vampire   :smitten
The story doesnt matter so much when you have HIM in it :)

That thing certainly came and went unceremoniously, didn't it?   I hear the alien storyline wasn't even dealt with at all.

What Dreams May Come is amazing in that it was an all-out attempt to take the viewer into the most elaborate fantastic dream world that they could come up with.

I love Star Trek, but am very picky.   Each series has periods that let us down I think, and the films I don't care for much compared to television.   First season original Trek is the ultimate I think.   My favorite film is Generations then First Contact.

When all else fails, play dead!

As far as Trekkie movies go, I only like Generations. The rest are all disappointing.

I don't see any movies these days. No guy wants to date a 'crazy cat lady' and I can't afford to go by myself.

We never go either, I took my daughter to see RENT because she was obsessed with it about 3 years ago and before that it would have been Balto when she was about 2 (She's turning 16 this year).
I miss the drive in, i could proobably handle going to the drive in if they still exsisted round here.
