My yougest sister "Jana" had surgery in August, she has had a history and a half with Endometriosis(sp)...she had been having pain (more than usual during her menses) and even long after her menses for about a year.
She "finally" went to her Gynocologist, and he set her for exploratory, even though, she and the Doc knew her endo had come back.
Her symptoms were: bloating, constipation, PAIN, lower abdomen, and up and down her back.
Anyways.........to make this as short as possible. she had the surgery, and the endo had made its way outside her uterus, and had started attaching itself to everything there. She also had a ovary removed which had been damaged.
It has now been 4 months, and although she said her back and her lower abdomen feels lots better, and the constipation is all but a memory, and the bloating is gone, except of course when she gets her menses, she still hurts like hell!!!
Hope you find out soon Scarlett when your surgery is, and they find out something!!!
