Gynecologist
Check up after surgery
Told I need to be patient, my body needed more time to heal. I agreed I was
a little impatient, but after all I'd been through I was entitled to be.
I allowed 4 more weeks then returned to work only to go home early
most days.
I'm sure my co-workers thought I was a big sook and to get over it
(with the exception of my Boss, always ok with me) besides my own
family she could always pick when I wasn't feeling so good, and some
days demanded I go home early.
Gynecologist Results
Four weeks had passed. Complain complain complain. He was terrific though, and referred me to another
Gastroenterologist (in the same medical
centre as him).
More Waiting
It's hard to recall exactly, roughly 2 months waiting period to see this
specialist. In the meanwhile back to my original Doctor to have a chat about the
the findings during my operation.
She didn't say much at all really, rather
shocked, I get the feeling not much was said because she knew this should have been picked up.
Undiagnosed Illness
After all the tests I had over the years I
only ever received a brief report on this operation, no pictures like I received
from every other operations/test. All other laparoscopies I have full reports
and copies of the images taken. At the time I was in "get diagnosed mood" I wasn't
worried about bits of paper.
Life
Life wasn't so good, loving caring family but I
could no longer do the activities I did previously. Horse riding was the major
one for me, a long held passion that I miss so much. I took holidays from work, and spent many days just
sleeping. My body needed it.
