Living With an Undiagnosed Illness
Gynecologist
Check up after surgery
Told I need to be patient, my body needed more time to heal. I agreed I was
a little impatient, but after all I'd been through I was entitled to be.
I allowed 4 more weeks then returned to work only to go home early
most days.
I'm sure my co-workers thought I was a big sook and to get over it
(with the exception of my Boss, always ok with me) besides my own
family she could always pick when I wasn't feeling so good, and some
days demanded I go home early.
Gynecologist Results
Four weeks had passed. Complain complain complain. He was terrific though, and referred me to another
Gastroenterologist.
More Waiting
It's hard to recall exactly, roughly 2 months waiting period to see this
specialist. In the meanwhile back to my original Doctor to have a chat about the
the findings of my first Laparoscopy.
She didn't say much at all really, rather
shocked, I get the feeling not much was said because she knew this should have been picked up.
Undiagnosed Illness
Life
Life wasn't so good, loving caring family but I
could no longer do the activities I did previously. Horse riding was the major
one for me, a long held passion that I miss so much. I took holidays from work, and spent many days just
sleeping. My body needed it.
