Bowel Resection Operation
The Day Had Finally Arrived
The day had arrived for my Bowel Re-section
Surgery. I was rather calm and peaceful until
the anesthetist came to see me. The thought of waking up with a coloscopy bag was
scary, and the mention of a drip inserted which would be attached to pain relief
medication that I could simple press when I needed it, sounded like the pain after surgery was
going to be excuriating.
Bowel Re-Section
Again I was prepared, I've gone through all
this time in pain, another few weeks and then perhaps it all being over and done
with was worth it. I didn't see or hear from the surgeons operating that morning,
which I thought I would have, but not to be.
Bowel Resection Results
I woke from surgery feeling rather good, no pain, no coloscopy bag. It took a
while for the doctors to come see me, I was anxious to hear the
results. When the gynecologist finally arrived he said No
Bowel Resection was performed and my endometriosis was all gone.
What the .u.k ?
I'd pay thousands of dollars all for nothing. While
it was good to hear my pelvic, ovaries etc were crystal clear and my bowel all good,
what was I doing in hospital for major surgery.
The general surgeon who performed my gallbladder operation
was right. This operation was just an Extravaganza.
I was so so annoyed, how can a surgeon book you in
for such major surgery, then you wake to find nothing was found, this is
just ridulous. I was discharged from hospital within
hours.
My undiagnosed illness continues, but where do I
go from here ??
